This page explains how See City Tours ("we", "us") collects and handles personal information when you browse this site or book a tour. Last updated: August 1, 2026.
What we collect
- Booking information: name, email, phone, party size, dates and anything you write in the form.
- Special requirements: dietary restrictions, mobility needs, or anything else you tell us that affects how we run the tour safely.
- Payment details: handled by our payment provider. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Website analytics: anonymous usage statistics, only if you accept cookies. The site works normally if you decline.
How we use it
To confirm and run your booking, to contact you if anything changes, to process payments and refunds, and — only where you have opted in — to send occasional notes about availability. We never sell, rent or trade your information.
Who we share it with
Only where necessary: the boat operators or venues involved in your specific tour (name and party size only), our payment processor, our email provider, and public authorities where required by law.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept for up to 12 months. Completed bookings are held for seven years for accounting and tax purposes. Information about special requirements is deleted within 30 days of your tour.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep the site working, including remembering your cookie choice. Analytics cookies only run after you press Accept, and clearing your browser data withdraws that consent.
Photographs
Guides sometimes take group photos. If we would like to use one on the website or social media we ask you first, on the day. You can also write to us at any time and ask us to take a published photograph down.
Your rights
- Ask what information we hold about you.
- Request a copy.
- Ask us to correct or complete it.
- Ask us to stop using it.
- Ask us to delete it.
To exercise any of these, email [email protected] or call +1 646-531-0647. We respond within 30 days.
Changes
Any changes are posted on this page with an updated date.
